AN IMMORTAL'S GRIEVANCE Blurb:
Charles Augustus Livingston lll was unwillingly bitten and turned immortal after he foolishly chased his heart back to Dracula Castle, where he learned his summer lover's true identity of how God had damned her to a life of suffering as a blasphemous beast.
He had fallen in love with none other than Queen Dracula: the daughter of Hell.
After begrudgingly accepting his fate of no longer possessing the ability to enter the heavens, he gets cabin fever after nearly two decades of wallowing in self-pity inside the castle ruins. Charles decides to leave Transylvania to visit his homeland in England and to witness Dracula's monstrosities in the streets. Whilst there, he has an unfortunate run-in with Alice Van Helsing, a famous monster hunter whom he would find attractive if it weren't for the fact that she was adamant on driving a silver stake through his heart.
Both women torture what is left of his morals and beliefs, and he will find himself questioning whether an immortal can, in fact, possess a soul.
This is Charles's story; this is his immortal grievance.
